Support
StoryView is made by a small team, and mail goes to a person rather than a queue. Write to support@storyview.app and you will get an answer.
Something is broken
Tell us your macOS version, what you were doing, and what happened instead. If it involves a share, the link helps — we can see the state of the upload from it.
A recording will not upload
Uploads resume by themselves at the next launch, so leave the app open and give it a minute before writing in. If it is still stuck, send the share link.
Deleting your account
Open StoryView, go to Cloud Sharing, and choose Delete Account. It removes everything you have uploaded and stops every link you have shared. The recordings on your Mac stay where they are. The privacy policy says exactly what goes.
Why StoryView requires macOS 26
StoryView uses Apple's on-device speech model for the timed transcript that powers editing, captions, search and documents. That model ships with macOS 26, so older releases cannot provide the product's core workflow without sending audio to a separate transcription service.
